LINE-X Earns Frost & Sullivan Leadership Award

LINE-X Earns Frost and Sullivan Award Santa Ana, CA. (February 08, 2005) -Frost & Sullivan is pleased to present the 2004 Market Penetration Leadership Award to Line-X Corporation for excellence in competitive, branding and market penetration strategy for the spray-on bedliner aftermarket in North America. Over the research period, Line-X Corporation has demonstrated leadership which has yielded significant gains in market share, which has solidified the company's market presence. Based on extensive primary research, Frost & Sullivan has estimated that Line-X Corporation's market share of the spray-on bedliner aftermarket to be approximately 26.6 percent of a total market valued at $112.3 million dollars in manufacturer level revenues. Line-X Corporation has not only succeeded in gaining significant market share in a fiercely competitive market environment, but has gained significant brand share vis-a-vis the company's branding strategy.

The strategy employed by Line-X Corporation is multifaceted, and involves a number of initiatives driven to prompt the brand and the presence of spray-on bedliners in

North America. These include:

· Corporate backed limited lifetime warranty
· Significant franchisee support in marketing and training
· Promotion programs

Line-X's corporate backed limited lifetime warranty program has resulted in significant growth in sales of the company's spray-on product. The strategy employed results in providing increased confidence among franchisees and end-users with the durability of the product. In this market, Frost & Sullivan has found that durability is a leading purchase decision among end-users. Spray-on bedliners are purchased because they provide significant protection for the truck bed. A warranty program that is corporate backed ensures greater confidence, and increase market penetration, both of which has been achieved by Line-X Corporation.

Line-X Corporation provides significant support in marketing and training to franchisee's which has directly impacted top of mind brand and market share. Line-X Corporation currently has approximately 420 outlets across North America that provide spray-on bedliners. The company has improved on the number of stores in North America by roughly 5 percent. Line-X's goal is to grow organically while protecting franchisee territory in order to generate greater same store sales, hence the planned conservative growth in outlets. Furthermore, the company provides cooperative nationwide and regional advertising, to the sum of approximately 50 percent of profits which are directly attributed to these advertising campaigns. This has resulted in phenomenal brand and market share increases. This successful strategy employed by Line-X Corporation is a significant indicator of the company's commitment not only to their franchisee's but to the promoting, protecting, and placing the Line-X brand as the leading product in the spray-on bedliner aftermarket.

Strategic alliances combined with promotion programs have assisted the company in expanding the customer base and mind share. Line-X Corporation has invested heavily in promoting the brand via sponsorships of motorsport programs. Notably, Line-X has recently sponsored the Toyota Nascar race in July 2004, with extremely positive results. This type of sponsorship on a national level, with international recognition, places the brand at the top of mind with loyal customers and perceptive clients. Loyal customers are significant because they will refer others to the brand and product. Furthermore, the company has invested significantly in nationwide television, radio, and print campaigns to support the growth of their franchisee's and the Line-X brand.

These measures combined have placed Line-X Corporation and its brand of spray-on bedliners head and shoulders above the competition.

Frost & Sullivan is very pleased to recognize this extremely strategic, innovative, and successful company.

Entrepreneur Magazine Ranks LINE-X Number One

LINE-X Rated Number One Franchise Santa Ana, CA. (December 21, 2004) -LINE-X Franchise Development Corporation announced today its selection as Entrepreneur Magazine’s Number One Miscellaneous Automotive Products and Services Franchise for 2005. Additionally, LINE-X is listed for the fourth year in a row in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 coming in at number 56. To top it off, LINE- X was ranked by Entrepreneur as the 16th Fastest Growing Franchise in the U.S.

Scott Jewett, General Manager for LINE-X, was quoted as saying, "We are extremely proud and excited to be recognized for such a high level achievement in building and leading the spray-on bedliner market. This success is attributed to years of hard work by hundreds of LINE-X franchises in the United States, Canada, and around the world. We look forward to the continued success of the entire LINE-X team."

LINE-X was invented by Claudio Burtin, a principle in Burtin Chemical Corporation. Mr. Burtin’s goal was to develop a highly durable, spray-able, polyurethane/polyurea coating that could be sprayed using commercial grade high temp/high pressure, plural spray equipment common in the polyurethane foam industry. After almost 10 years of research and experimentation LINE-X was born. When he first coated the floor of a race car trailer, it gained instant popularity. Fifteen years later, LINE-X has grown to become one of the largest franchised businesses in the automotive after-market industry and the leading spray-on bedliner company in the United States. Currently, LINE-X has over 500 locations in the U.S. and Canada, spraying over 20,000 truck beds a month. The patented LINE-X PAXCON formula has been demonstrated in applications such as bomb blast protection for concrete buildings and trailers for the U.S. Air Force Research Lab and Army Corps of Engineers. This product has been applied to the walls of several high profile buildings including the U.S. Pentagon. Similarly, LINE-X has been demonstrated as a non-skid surface on U.S. Navy Submarines.

LINE-X has clearly led a revolution in the coatings industry and is poised for future growth in both the spray-on bedliner markets and other commercial/industrial applications.
